Interesting questions Heather. I’m a big fan of selective focusing but it can be a bit much I guess. That said, I think your shot is great. Lovely “warmth” to the image which makes perfect sense given its context. Kevin

love the perspective here. even though she is in the bokeh you can still see she is in thought. i like that you focused on the candle and got her in the blurred DOF.
