Tasty Tuesday: Meat & Potatoes
There’s no excuse not to make great looking food even when it’s not technically homemade. This is a simple dish I made up one night last winter when I didn’t have time to think up a whole meal, but had to put something on the table. It was also way before I got all super health conscience (which was yesterday)!
Method:
Throw some frozen beef patties in a skillet and brown them with your favorite mild seasonings. Then toss some frozen green beans (fresh if you have them) in pot for steaming. Reheat leftover mashed potatoes. While everything is cooking heat up a jar of your favorite beef gravy.
You end up with a great meal that doesn’t look like it’s a 5 minute microwave meal!

I’m hungry.
That looks delish!
That is the type of dinners I like best – fast and easy (and wow does it look tasty)…need to try that one!
Can you send some down here to PR??!!!! Looks goooood!
I bet that is really good! Not sure how I’d fit it into my current regime, though.
[...] Well I understand things are well up North at the ol’ Tavern. The Queen of the Tavern, the lovely Charlene is keeping the troops in line up there. Not sure what the special of the day is, but again it IS tasty Tuesday. [...]

This is the kind of meal I think we all crave from time to time, Heather, right?!
