Tasty Tuesday: Hot Links & Hot Dogs

Bun + Spicy Mayo + Hot Link + Caramelized Onions + Blue Cheese Crumbles

Inspiration for the toppings came from PW’s Most Favorite Burger Ever which I recommend you put on your dinner menu immediately because it’s to die for! Do you know the one thing that would make this Hot Link better? Wrapping it in bacon before grilling it! Mmmmm Mmmmm.

Bun + Mustard or Mayo + Hot Dog + Slice of Pickle + Shredded Cheese

Inspiration for the toppings came from my Aunt Janis’ Laguna cooler hot dogs from when I was a kid…she’d wrap em up in foil & load them in the cooler for our trips to Laguna Beach in the summer.

That first one looks so good. I would not have thought of that combination for a Hot Dog. I might just have to fire up the grill and give that a try tonight. Mmmmm

  10. My DH’s favorite very quick food is a hot dog. Although he wants only mustard on his dry bun! BORING!!
In Seattle on the waterfront there used to be a vendor with a cart where we used to get hot dogs. I can’t state he is still there because I’ve not been to Seattle’s waterfront in many years. These hot dogs were served with mustard (hot if you wish), plenty of horse radish (love it!), mayo (if you wished), raw onions (optional), and sauerkraut!!! They were to die for!! When I left Seattle, I used to make these for myself. Haven’t in a while. Need to start again. 😀
